Currently Working On

I do not simply build projects; I build visions — I leave a part of myself in everything I create. Right now it is the birth of the new magazine " SANCTUM - the intelligent wellness review. Sanctum is born from this philosophy: true luxury today is not only what we own, but how we feel, how we age, how we heal, and how consciously we live. I bring together a rare combination of qualities: the eye of a designer, the curiosity of a researcher, the standards of a luxury curator, and the empathy of someone who has always searched for deeper answers. Sanctum is not just another wellness publication. It is a platform for intelligent conversations, trusted voices, transformative experiences, a new definition of luxury where longevity, vitality, and inner balance become the ultimate expressions.

Karine Lackner is a transformational hypnotherapist, podcast host, and founder of Sanctum - Intelligent Wellness Review. Her most important insight is that true success comes from showing up with intention every single day, combined with the understanding that the greatest investment we can make is in ourselves through knowledge, mindset, and long-term vision.

Karine Lackner has built a diverse career spanning interior design, real estate, wellness media, and transformational healing practices. In this interview with Powerful Blueprints, she shares how consistency, curiosity, and personal sacrifice have shaped her journey from studying alternative healing methods to founding multiple ventures. Good morning, Karine!

What is one habit you practice every single day that has had the biggest impact on your success?

Karine practices showing up with intention every single day, building success through consistency, passion, and forward momentum regardless of challenges.

One habit I practice every single day is showing up with intention — no matter what.

I have always believed that success is built through consistency, passion, and the willingness to keep moving forward even when things are challenging. Throughout my journey as a self-made woman, I have taken every project as an opportunity to learn, create, and grow — whether it was in interior design, real estate, or building a luxury travel and lifestyle magazine.

I have always had a strong attention to detail, sometimes even a perfectionist side, but I learned to transform that into a strength. It pushes me to raise my standards, to look for beauty and excellence in everything I do, and to deliver work that carries a signature.

Every day, I remind myself to stay curious, stay disciplined, and keep improving. I don't wait for the perfect moment — I create it through action. My biggest achievements have come from the combination of perseverance, passion, and the belief that every vision deserves the dedication to become reality.

What is the hardest personal sacrifice you have made for your career?

Karine sold personal jewelry to fund two years of intensive alternative healing studies, later discovering that officially practicing many of these modalities would require a medical degree.

The hardest personal sacrifice I have made for my career was investing everything I had into a path I deeply believed in — even when I didn't know where it would lead.

At one point in my life, I became fascinated by alternative healing methods and the incredible intelligence of the human body. I wanted to understand more, so I immersed myself fully into learning. I took every course I could find and dedicated two years of my life to studying these practices.

To continue my education, I made a very personal sacrifice — I sold my jewelry to be able to afford my studies. At the time, it was not an easy decision, but my passion and curiosity were stronger than any attachment to material things.

After completing all my courses, I discovered that in order to officially practice many of these modalities, I would have needed to become a doctor. It was a difficult realization, but I never saw the journey as wasted.

Was it worth it? Absolutely.

Those years gave me knowledge and awareness that many people still do not have today, and perhaps some may never discover. I learned that the body is an extraordinary masterpiece — almost like a mystery waiting to be solved. If we approach it with curiosity, observation, and the mindset of a detective, we can uncover so much.

That experience shaped the way I see life and every project I take on. It taught me that true success is not only measured by achievements, but by the depth of what we learn, the courage to follow our intuition, and the willingness to invest in ourselves.

What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?

Karine would advise seeking knowledge on multiple levels and creating a long-term plan, emphasizing that true happiness comes from within through self-awareness rather than external validation.

If I could go back and give my 20-year-old self one piece of advice, it would be: seek knowledge on as many levels as possible.

At 20, it is easy to get carried away by the outside world — by success, recognition, appearances, and the expectations of others. But with time, I learned that true happiness is not something we find externally. It is something we build within ourselves through self-awareness, growth, and the relationship we create with who we truly are.

My second piece of advice would be: have a plan. Create a roadmap for the next 20 or 30 years of your life and work towards it with discipline and patience. It doesn't have to look the same for everyone — for some it may be building a business, for others creating, learning, investing, or pursuing a passion that gives them purpose.

In my own journey, real estate investments became part of that long-term vision — a foundation built through patience, strategy, and consistency.

I have learned that nothing meaningful comes easily. And when something comes too easily, it can sometimes disappear just as quickly as it arrived. The things that truly last are built with dedication, resilience, and the willingness to keep learning throughout life.

My younger self needed to understand that the greatest investment we can ever make is in ourselves — our knowledge, our mindset, and our vision for the future.

How do you reset when everything gets overwhelming?

Karine resets by reminding herself that storms eventually pass and creating small rituals like warm baths with Epsom salts, candlelight, and soothing music to return to center.

When everything gets overwhelming, I remind myself that every storm eventually passes.

Life can bring moments of stress, frustration, and uncertainty, but I have learned not to let temporary challenges define my inner state. I see difficult moments as a storm — powerful while it is happening, but always followed by clearer skies. Knowing that after the rain comes the sun helps me stay grounded and trust the process.

I have also learned the importance of creating small rituals that bring me back to myself. Music has always been a powerful way for me to reconnect with calm and balance. Sometimes, the simplest things can completely shift our energy — like a warm bath with Epsom salts, surrounded by candlelight and soft, soothing music.

These moments allow my mind to slow down, my body to relax, and create a new space for clarity and peaceful thoughts.

For me, resetting is not about escaping life's challenges — it is about returning to my center so I can face them with a calmer mind, a stronger perspective, and renewed energy.

Who is the one person who shaped the way you think?

Karine credits her mother as the person who shaped her thinking, teaching strength, perseverance, and curiosity while being ahead of her time with practices like yoga, EAV, and homeopathy.

The one person who shaped the way I think and see the world is my mother.

She taught me strength, perseverance, curiosity, and the importance of continuing to learn throughout life. I believe that all of us carry the teachings, values, and experiences passed down by our parents. So much of who we are comes from what we absorb early in life on a subconscious level — and these foundations influence the way we think, act, and respond to the world.

My mother was a woman ahead of her time in many ways. She was interested in so many different subjects and explored practices that I only discovered much later in my own journey. She practiced yoga long before I did, explored EAV before I had even heard of it, and used homeopathy for as long as I can remember.

She had a strong character — very much like her Taurus nature — yet with a deeply kind heart, especially as she grew older. Looking back, I recognize many of her qualities within myself: the determination, the curiosity, the desire to understand more, and the belief that there is always something new to discover.

I am forever grateful for everything my mother taught me, both through her words and through the example she set. One of the most touching moments of my life was when, later in her life, she told me that I had become her teacher.

For me, that was a beautiful reminder that learning is a lifelong exchange — between generations, between experiences, and between souls.

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us, Karine.
